Our philosophy
In 2009, I had an adversary. I was nine years old, so was he. I just won the Hong Kong table tennis champion for the U8 group a year ago. He wanted to beat me badly in table tennis. But he was far from me. I went on to win the U10 table tennis in 2010. He got fourth. In the two years following, he trained at the highest level possible. He trained 6 days a week, for a minimum of 3 hours a day. I respected him. Two years later, in 2012. In the same competition, but for U12, he finally beat me at the finals. He got first. I got second. I smiled.
For students still in their 9th grade preparing for college, know that four years is enough time, to completely change you as a person. My adversary trained for 2 years at the very highest level, he was able to clinch the Hong Kong champion. Four years of training, is enough for you to go from anywhere, to the very top. So students, as long as you have the grit, and the right amount of studying, you would be able to go anywhere you want. Perhaps the University of Chicago, perhaps Harvard. Perhaps MIT. The future is yours.
